About Salt Therapy
Dry Salt Therapy, also known as Halotherapy, has been used for over 100 years in Europe and Russia. It is an alternative and natural complimentary treatment for many respiratory issues, as well as skin and inflammatory issues. Halotherapy has been found to be beneficial to those suffering from asthma, allergies, ear infections, chronic lung disease, bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis to name a few. Salt therapy is also believed to help with stress reduction, lethargy, mental alertness, and overall well-being.
The salt is heated, ground into particles, negatively charged, and forced into the air of our Salt Caves. As you relax and breathe the salt particles enter your respiratory system. Dry salt is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and very absorbent. During your session the salt will absorb allergens and pollutants as it travels through your body.
Halotherapy has been an accepted treatment in Europe for over 50 years for breathing and skin issues. In the United States dry salt therapy is a natural alternative and complimentary therapy and is not a medical treatment.
